Students (6th-12th grade)

Student ministry is a vital part of the life and mission of Village Church. Our desire is to partner with families in making disciples of middle and high school students, with the goal of seeing them come to faith in the gospel of Jesus Christ, grow in their relationship with him, and leverage their lives for the glory of God.

We pursue this goal by teaching God’s word with clarity and conviction, providing space to build meaningful relationships with peers and mentors, and encouraging students to take part in the broader life of the church.

We meet each week for Bible teaching and fellowship, complemented by regular events designed to help students learn, build lasting relationships, grow in their faith, and have fun together.

Through these rhythms, we seek to create a community where students are known, challenged, encouraged, and equipped to follow Jesus.

Weekly Gathering

Each Sunday evening, students in grades 6–12 gather for a time called Abide from 5:00–7:30 p.m. at the Pendleton Community Center (145 Town Street, Pendleton, SC 29670). During this time, students and adult leaders share a meal together, have a time of Bible teaching and discussion, and play group games.

As you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
